I made it 3 days out of 30.  And the third was really sort of a cop out anyway.  Oops. REBOOT!  New plan.  Starting tomorrow, I'm continuing the challenge, but I'm not using the current prompts.  Maybe.  As fun as some of those sounded, there were others that I just... I couldn't.  Instead I'm going to generate prompts a day at a time as I go, so that instead of stick to a pre-set schedule I can let something smack me in the face and give me a brilliant idea.  Worst case scenario: I don't make it past a week again.  Best case scenario: I actually stick to it.  And when I say "generate prompts as I go" I don't just mean Seventh Sanctum.  If I

I wanted to do a 30 day challenge to force myself to draw more and give me specific themes or ideas to try to push myself.  However, when I went to look for 30 day challenges I found that they were either very specifically themed (DragonAge 30 Day Challenge, Pokemon 30 Day Challenge, etc) or incredibly vague and just not interesting enough (Day 1: Draw Yourself, Day 17: draw your favorite animal, etc).  I didn't want to go with a specific theme, as I felt I'd be limiting my genres, and I certainly didn't want to try one that I wouldn't be interested. I'm pretty sure my journal entries are pretty redundant.  There's a couple months of space between posts of "Look, I'm back, starting to work on improving my art.  Expect me to actually post stuff, even if it's trash."  Fairly redundant.  This is just another one of those.  Maybe this time I'll stick with it until the end of October, at which point I won't be able to upload stuff for two years anyway.
